Manuscript design
The text file must contain the article title, the authors' team with a superscript numerical designation (after the last name) of the author's affiliation with a particular institution, an abstract, keywords, the main text, a list of references, and full information about the authors. Figures should be either inserted into the article or submitted as separate high-resolution files. Diagrams and graphs created using Microsoft Office programs are attached as files with the extension *.docx, *.xls, *.ppt; digital values for plotting them are attached to each diagram and graph. Images (figures, photographs) are attached as separate files in TIFF, JPEG, or PNG format (with the extension *.tif, *.ipj, or *.png, respectively) with a resolution of at least 300 ppi. Identical figures must have the same size and scale. Histological photographs should be accompanied by the magnification factor and the staining method.
Original articles should not exceed 10 typewritten pages (abstracts, tables, illustrations, and references are not included), review articles and lectures should not exceed 14 pages, and case reports or experience sharing articles should not exceed 8 pages. The article text should be typed on one side of an A4 sheet of paper with 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 cm margins on each side, and Times New Roman font size 14.
At the beginning of the article, the following are placed in sequence: UDC index, title of the article, initials and surname of the author(s) of the article, full official name of the institution(s) where the work was carried out, abstract, keywords.
For original articles, the abstract serves as a source of information independent of the main text of the article, which is stored in information systems and databases. Therefore, abstracts for original articles should be structured (briefly reiterating the article's structure, including the purpose, methods, results, and conclusion) and informative (disclosing the article's content and research findings), and should be at least 250 words long.
The abstract of literature reviews and lectures should contain the purpose of the review/purpose of the article, the main points of the review/article presented in the main part, and have a conclusion.
Abbreviations and references in the abstract are not allowed.
Keyword(s) should correspond to terms from the Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) sections of MEDLINE/PubMed. There should be at least five keywords.
Abbreviations and abbreviations (except for those generally accepted) are placed in parentheses after the first mention of the term. Units of measurement, symbols, and abbreviations must comply with international standards. Measurements of length, height, weight, and volume should be given in metric units (meter, kilogram, liter) or decimal multiples thereof. Temperature should be expressed in degrees Celsius. All measurements in clinical chemistry should be expressed in metric units using the International System of Units (SI). The use of unusual symbols or abbreviations is strongly discouraged. Clinical diagnostic terms are given in accordance with the International Classification of Diseases, 11th revision (ICD-11). Gene names and symbols are typed in italics in lowercase letters; the names of their products should begin with a capital letter in a roman font.
An original article in which the author presents his own research should have the following sections:
Introduction – a brief summary of the current state of the problem, justification of the relevance and purpose of the research.
Materials and Methods – a description of the study design, information about the study subjects, the study samples, and the statistical methods used to process the obtained data. When describing generally accepted research methods, references to relevant literary sources may be sufficient; in other cases, the research methods are described in as much detail as possible. When describing devices, diagnostic equipment, and laboratory analysis kits, the country of manufacture must be indicated. If drugs and chemicals were used in the study, their international nonproprietary names (INNs) must be provided in lowercase letters, along with the dosage and route of administration.
Scientific research using experimental animals must be carried out in compliance with the laws and regulations of laboratory practice adopted in the Russian Federation and the principles of humanity set out in the European Union directive; the research must be approved by the ethics committee of the organization where the work was carried out (the protocol number and date of approval are indicated).
Research projects involving human subjects must be conducted in accordance with the "Rules of Clinical Practice in the Russian Federation" and adhere to the ethical principles of medical research involving human subjects. The research must be approved by the ethics committee of the institution where the study was conducted (the protocol number and approval date must be indicated).
A mandatory component of the "Materials and Methods" section is a description of the statistical analysis. This section provides a complete list of the statistical methods used, the hypothesis testing criteria, the critical significance level adopted for this study, and the name and version of the statistical analysis program.
Results – a reasoned presentation of the research findings, with elements of analysis and interpretation of the data obtained.
Discussion – the current state of the research on the question or problem being studied, and a comparison of the results obtained with those of other authors (with references to domestic and international literature). Please note that it is not recommended to combine the "Results" and "Discussion" sections.
Conclusion – formulated conclusions, substantiated recommendations, provisions arising from the results obtained.
The structure of a literature review should include an introduction, the purpose of the review, the main body and a conclusion.
The structure of a clinical case description or exchange of experience should contain an introduction, a descriptive part (a brief anamnesis, objective studies, laboratory and instrumental examinations, treatment performed, results and prognosis), discussion, and conclusion.
Tables should be titled and numbered, and oriented in portrait mode. Column headings should reflect their content. Data presented in tables should not duplicate figures, and vice versa. In the text of the article, all tables are designated using consecutive numbers in parentheses (Table 1), (Table 2), etc.

Original articles cite no less than 10 and no more than 15 sources, while review articles cite no more than 50. References to patents, dissertations, and conference proceedings are not included in the bibliography but are provided as footnotes. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of bibliographic data. If necessary, the bibliography will be sent to the author for revision.
Bibliographic references in the text of the manuscript, tables and captions to tables and figures are indicated by Arabic numerals in square brackets, starting with [1] and then in chronological order.
The article must have two reference lists:
